ACHS & Littleton Co-op introduce new cooking series…
Cooking with Chad
Ammonoosuc Community Health Services (ACHS) and the Littleton Food Co-op have partnered to bring delicious and nutritious recipes to the community. The new cooking series, Cooking with Chad, is filmed in front of a live audience by Phlume Media and takes place on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Littleton Food Co-op café from 5:30-7:00. Each cooking session features recipes that are easy, affordable and healthy, as well as tips to make cooking easier. Class topics vary but tend to focus on simple cooking techniques and nutritional concepts. The idea for the series came about after the recent success of two such classes which drew receptive crowds eager to discover new recipes. Chad Proulx, ACHS’ staff nutritionist, and education specialist conducts the sessions along with Jill Kimball, ACHS’ Community Relations Director. Participants leave with their bellies full and recipe cards so they can make the delicious dishes at home.
