Our Primary Care Services are complimented with the following support programs...

Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening

This program provides free breast and cervical cancer screenings to women age 40-64 who have no health insurance or have insurance that does not pay for screening tests and with family incomes at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level. Income guidelines are updated each year in February. You do not have to be a patient at ACHS to participate in this program. The screenings are offered at all 5 of our sites. The program offers eligible participants access to the following services:

  • Clinical Breast Exam
  • Mammography
  • Pap Test
  • Pelvic Exam

Cervical cancer screening is mainly for women who have never had a Pap test or have not had one in over 5 years.

Mammography screening is mainly for women age 50-64.

Breast Cancer Screening Guidelines
Women age 40+ years and older:

  • Mammogram every 1-2 years
  • Breast check

Cervical Cancer Screening Guidelines
Women age 40+ years and older:

  • Pap test every 1-2 years
  • (if 3 normal test results in a row, health care provider may recommend an alternate schedule)

She's One Smart Mom, She's Got text4baby!

Get FREE messages each week on your cell phone to help you through your pregnancy and your baby's first year. Registration is easy and can be done online here or from your cell phone. Simply text the word BABY to 511411. You’ll be asked to enter your baby’s due date or your baby’s birthday and your zip code.

Once you are registered you will start receiving free messages with tips for your pregnancy and caring for your baby. These messages are timed to your due date or your baby’s birth date.

HIV/STD Counseling and Testing

We offer confidential counseling and testing for HIV and sexually transmitted infections and diseases. Treatment may be available for some infections or diseases at no charge to eligible clients, including Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphillus, Trichomoniasis, Hepatitis B & C and HIV infections.
