ACHS is a nationally recognized and financially secure Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) with a focus on outcomes and community focused care that integrates primary care, behavioral health, oral health, chronic disease management and clinical pharmacy services and delivers to a diverse and underserved patient population. The organization serves over 10,000 of the 30,000 people in its service area encompassing 26 towns in southern Coos County and northern Grafton counties.  The Health Center has 6 sites: ACHS-Littleton (Clinic, Administrative Offices), ACHS Dental & Oral Health Center (on ACHS-Littleton Campus), ACHS-Franconia, ACHS-Warren, ACHS-Whitefield, and ACHS-Woodsville.


Our location in the beautiful White Mountain National Forest area of New Hampshire offers incredible natural beauty throughout the seasons and is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream land. The slower pace of life in this rural area supports a healthy work-life balance, but its location is still only 2.5 hours from Boston, even closer to Montreal, Burlington, VT and the coast of Maine.

CERTIFIED / REGISTERED MEDICAL ASSISTANTS - MULTI-SITES

ACHS is seeking experienced full-time Medical Assistants, registered or certified, at our busy ACHS sites. The CMA/RMA position is responsible for assisting providers in delivering quality health care to patients of all ages.  The ideal candidate will have prior experience, possess excellent critical thinking skills and a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to provide superb customer service and quality care.  You must be a team player and take an active role in the core clinical team.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Confident, self-assured and reliable
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal with the public, often in stressful situation
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Good computer skills a must
  • Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience with Centricity EHR platform
  • Two years RMA/CMA experience preferred

DENTAL OFFICE MANAGER - LITTLETON

The Dental Office Manager provides administrative oversight of the dental center, including management of clinical and support staff, financial/productivity reporting, operational monitoring, regulatory requirements and patient and provider relations. They are responsible for the overall smooth running of the center and assists with ensuring that the center's goals and objectives are met on a daily, weekly, quarterly and annual basis. This is a full-time Monday - Friday position.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES
• Manages clinical and non-clinical personnel:
• Participate in the development of new dental policies and procedures; update and maintain existing policies and procedures as needed; ensure dental staff understand and consistently follow all departmental policies and procedures
• Assists in planning and implementing the dental business (strategic) plan


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE; SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Must possess strong computer skills and be proficient in the MS Office software suite.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with others using the written and spoken word.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to bring about group solidarity to achieve a goal.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow SOP’s.
• Must enjoy the public and present excellent customer relation skills.

FRONT DESK SUPPORT - RECEPTION - WOODSVILLE

Front Desk support provides reception and helps ensure smooth patient visits from in-take to discharge. This is a full-time Monday - Friday position.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Warmly greeting patients and visitors
  • Directing phone calls
  • Scheduling and assisting patients
  • Facilitating aspects of patient payments. 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE; SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • You must be detailed oriented
  • You MUST enjoy people and be able to multi-task.
  • Previous experience with electronic medical records systems, and one year related experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate.

PATIENT NAVIGATOR / CERTIFIED APPLICATION COUNSELOR - LITTLETON

The Patient Navigator is responsible for collaborating with clinical staff to identify high risk, high cost patients requiring on-going coordination of services. Patient Navigators/Certified Application Counselors play a vital role in providing outreach and education to ACHS patients, to raise awareness about available services, social resources and insurance options.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Be able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and public
  • Must possess strong computer skills and be proficient with MS Office
  • Candidates must be able to complete certification for Certified Application Counselor
  • Some travel is required

HEALTH INFORMATION SYSTEM SPECIALIST- LITTLETON

The H.I.S. Support Specialist works collaboratively with users of the networked computing environment as well as the users of Clinical Information Systems. The Specialist will provide support for computer and EHR related problems as well as acting as a resource for I.S. initiatives and projects.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide proactive response to, and resolution of computer, network and Electronic Health Record application issues as identified by end users.
- Install desktops, laptops or thin client systems as per user functional requirements on the ACHS network.
- Install or assist in installation of additional hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, servers, specialized computing equipment and others as required.
- Load and maintain specific software packages such as operating systems, office automation tools, communications or line of business applications onto computers and servers.
- Regular system reviews to identify potential computer or Electronic Health Record Application problems.
- Replace, patch, update or repair defective or inadequate software packages.
- Refer major hardware or Electronic Health Record application problems.
- Develop and maintain understanding and working knowledge of the Electronic Health Record system and its relationship to other information systems, both internal and external.
- Attend regular staff meetings to help address application-related issues or concerns.
- Maintain membership on committees and work groups as needed to communicate and facilitate the ongoing process of the development, implementation and revision of the Clinical Information Systems.
- Works with vendor support departments to install upgrades and correct application problems as appropriate.
- Provides on-call support within rotation schedule.

Experience with GE Centricity or a similar healthcare clinical system and/or training a plus.
- Other duties, hours and ACHS site placement may be assigned.

FAMILY PRACTICE PHYSICIANS - ACHS is searching for energetic, mission-minded Family Practice Physicians to join its dedicated team to accommodate growth and additional access to health care for its patients. ACHS currently has 8 Family Practice Physicians, 7 APRNs, 2 Physician Assistants, 1 Pediatrician, 1 Internal Medicine Physician, 3 Pharmacists, 1 Dentist (soon to be 2), 3 behavioral health specialists attended by a robust team of clinical and non-clinical support personnel.


ACHS Physicians will experience:
• A balanced focus on quality & volume allowing more time with patients: average 20+ min visits.
• IT support team with a strong, clinical knowledge with >20 years of EHR experience.

• Compensation is between 75%-90% of MGMA, NACHC, and Medscape scale.
